I forgot to set a pvr event for this series on showcase. So I went to showcase's website today to see if/when it will be replayed (it won't) and decided to just watch the pilot online.
About 1 minute in, a cooking ad/show is over laid on the video with the audio or both videos coming through for around 30 seconds. It then reverts to Burn Notice but with audio only: no video, just a black screen. Bizarre. Guess it is torrent time. |

Looks like they will be replaying it Sunday at 6pm (according the Rogers onscreen guide).

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize there was a part 2. I assumed it was a repeat of the original and deleted it from the PVR schedule.

I have just finished season II and the series has really grown on me. It is not a tier one like Sopranos, or The Wire. It does not quite compare with the Tier 2 like Dexter and True Blood. But certainly stands first among equals with network TV like NCIS, and 24.

Is it an episodic series (i.e. once you understand the set-up, each episode pretty much stands on its own) or do you need to watch the whole series?

There is an underlying arc, so watching it in order makes more sense, but you should be able to watch most episodes as stand alone...

It's actually the second half of season 3. The first half aired sometime last year.

Show Case must only have the rights to air the first 2 seasons because superchannel claims they will air season 4(which will probably be out on DVD first) and not show Case, so I would like to know who is airing what?

Show case seems to be airing season 3, I have been watching it on Showcase. IMDB has season 3 episodes, which are on so far showcase. But it may be a hit or miss.
