The only thing that urks me with my Prime so far is the browser. It seems to shut down many times. If it's not the browser, it's the Prime itself. There is a lot of buzz on the net about this issue. Rumours are ASUS are working on a patch to solve it. Not holding my breath for it yet.
I have had my transformer prime for a week. The first few days it was running property. Now it has locked up, re-booted on its own , the browser quits often, and the camera app locks up.
I hope the .14 update will fix this. I expected more from Asus.
First try a better browser. When the first ICS update came out, I was disappointed that the user agent string was no longer available in Settings. I downloaded Dolphin HD and the stock browser now gets about as much use as my iPad 2.
Just rebooted using Dolphin... I am very frustrated. I don't think it is the browser. It is a crappy product....
Asus used to used to have good products. I am taking this pos back.
I got the update shortly after my post yesterday and like you, I haven't any crashes or reboots. I do have the odd popup telling my if I want to close the browser or wait.
Asus has not contacted me in 48 hours. Eee Pad Transformer Prime has rolled over 3 times today, and camera has random lines the preview. When it crashed and rebooted the line a went away.
.15 should be put in a few days to address the rebooting problem.
Mine has been reboot free for 1 day since the factory reset.
Time will tell.
