I currently have 2 x 9242 (One belongs to bell and one belongs to me). I am having fibe tv installed soon and hope to be able to have access to the recordings moved to my external hard drive. I'm sure that I will be able to access recordings on the 9242 I will keep but will I still be able to watch recordings that are on the external hard drive when I no longer have bell sat tv? Also will it be possible to watch the external hd recordings on the 9242 that was not used to originally move the recordings from?

I have a 9242 with an EHD and a 6131 without an EHD. I know that you weren't able to move the EHD from a 9242 to a 6131 and be able to watch shows from the EHD (that were archived from the 9242). Is this still the case? Thanks!

Yes, nothing has and will change as they are saved differently.
