In the future, Fortune 1000 companies will need to provide, or connect to, online social communities in order to attract and retain customers says technology research firm Gartner, Inc.
Obviously, I love reading conclusions like this but truthfully, I think its accurate.
If companies like Rogers, Bell, Shaw, Cogeco, and Telus want to grow their business and better service their business, I think they need to engage customers online. Ideally, I think it should be in 3rd party online communities such as Digital Home as opposed to communities that are under the strict control of the company but that's just my opinion!
