Not sure if this is the right area/forum. Please repost if needed.
Lately I have been enjoying the watch.discoverychannel.ca stream which has all sorts of excellent shows. I find though, that even though I'm on a Rogers High Speed Extreme plan, the delivery stops about every 5 minutes, then continues about 5 minutes later. I can see that the content is being delivered from Akamai. I suspect it's not being throttled, but rather maybe Akamai's pipe is saturated (or Bell Media -owner of Discovery) maybe just hasn't subscribed to a large enough pipe to meet demand. Anyone else have any difficulty with feeds from this site? Cheers! |

Do you have any browser plugins designed to capture and save Flash streams? If so, try removing them.

None. Just using Chrome or IE. Only add-ins are Picasa Extension, WOT, and AvastEasy Pass.

Your Flash up to date? I'm on Rogers too and played a couple of videos with no issues. Got a second PC you can test with?

I had been having success earlier this month from my same box, but today it's stuttering again. Too bad - such great content, too.
